Fullstack Developer
4+ years designing, building and shipping complete web applications — from the data model to the interface.
Fullstack developer with 4+ years designing and building complete web applications. I work across the front end (React, Angular, Next.js) and the back end (Node.js, Laravel), on both relational and NoSQL databases. I cover the whole cycle: data modelling, REST APIs, interface, deployment and production maintenance.
The work I take on most often.
From data modelling to production release
Design and development of a complete web application built around your business: database modelling, interface, business rules, role-based access and release. I take the project from the first mockup through to post-launch maintenance.
Connecting your tools together, cleanly
Development of documented, secured REST APIs and integration of third-party services: payments, messaging, accounting, ERP. Layered architecture, business rule validation and centralised error handling.
A fast, well-ranked online presence
High-performance showcase site built with Next.js: fast pages, editable content, contact form, considered SEO and traffic tracking. Designed for mobile connections, including slow networks.
A selection of products I designed and shipped.
Property management system for independent hotels
A full PMS built for African hotels and resorts, including sites with unreliable connectivity: reservations and availability, multi-currency cashier and accounting, housekeeping, maintenance, night audit with automatic tax calculation, and reporting dashboards. Bilingual French/English interface with role-based access (management, front desk, housekeeping, maintenance). Deployed for Tagidor Garden Resort & Spa (58 rooms).
Multi-currency quotes and invoices for freelancers and SMEs
Financial management platform for freelancers, small businesses and agencies across French-speaking Africa. The exchange rate is locked onto the document when it is issued: an invoice issued at 655.96 stays at 655.96 whatever the market does afterwards. Native FCFA, EUR and USD support, project and expense tracking, margin calculation per project and per client, a reusable service catalogue and consolidated reporting.
Online store for internet access vouchers
Online store for hotspot access vouchers: the customer picks a plan, pays, and receives the access code straight away. Four tiers from 100 to 10,000 FCFA (15 GB, 40 GB, unlimited) with 15 to 30 days of validity, encrypted payment, and a checkout flow that takes seconds on mobile.
I had the opportunity to work with Kevin at Company B a few years ago. Although we were not working in the same department, I got to know him as a very diligent, respectful, punctual, and professional person. Most importantly, he is someone who genuinely enjoys his work and always strives to do it well.
I have had the pleasure of working with Kevin for roughly two years and have consistently found him to be very professional, dedicated, and reliable. He takes his work seriously and is often willing to go the extra mile, including working overtime when needed to meet deadlines. His deliverables are in general always neat and well done. It is also worth mentioning how friendly and easy to communicate with him is. Working with Kevin has been a very good experience, and I would gladly recommend him yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
Kevin respecte toujours les délais annoncés, ce qui n'est pas si fréquent dans ce milieu. Je recommande sans hésiter.
Rochnel TicdoResponsable informatiqueI had the opportunity to work alongside Kevin at TonkaIn. Even though we didn't collaborate directly on the same project, our interactions gave me a great impression of him as a serious, hardworking, and respectful professional. He is committed to his work, open to learning, and easy to work with. I appreciate his positive attitude toward colleagues and his willingness to exchange ideas. I would be glad to work with him again and recommend him as a dedicated professional.
I did not work closely with Kevin on a same project but as far that I can remember it was hardworking person, always there on time, going back late, very quiet, and professional.
